sophia and i were planning to have lunch with jillian today in school and guess what! there was free food in school because of Fresher's Carnival.. its some event held for the exchange students.. and so..being singaporeans..we went and waited for the free food..
it was pretty good and there was free starbucks coffee as well.. i dont usually drink starbucks.. but since its free.. and since i'm a singaporean.. WHY NOT!? dun waste k.. u know millions of kids in africa are suffering from malnourishment and have to bite their own nails for food.. some dont even have nails to bite on..
kk..digressing..anyway.. it was so funny cuz the other singaporeans (from nus) were there as well.. and we were all standing suspiciously close to the buffet table..and yeah its easy to guess that we were'nt interested in anything else but the food..
anyway.. another suku thing i did today..
i was attending International Finance and was kinda waiting for time to pass..(i did copy alot of notes ok.. although i did find out later why nobody around me was taking notes. the lecturer was going through the Introduction of In'l Finance..=.=)
anyway.. after an hour.. it seemed like the professor was rounding up..so i started to pack and keep my stuff.. and then shockingly.. he went on to another set of notes.. i was so tempted to ask the person beside me if the class was a 2 hr lecture instead of one.. but anyway.. it turned out that it WAS a 2 hr lecture.. so PAI SAY..
i could either pretend to leave the lecture in a very cool, disinterested way.. OR take out my stationery again.. of course being the suku me, i did the latter la..it would be worse to leave and then try to listen in from outside the lecture right..

i dont think i'd be joining the floor orientation today..cuz i'm down with flu..they're gonna be having a soccer match with another floor.. so i guess i certainly cant join that..(silent yay)
i mean i dont want to pass the flu bug to the rest you know..! some ppl are just so inconsiderate and they only think about having fun..but noo.. my stand is for the public's sake and so i choose to stay in my room and keep the bug in.. (i can imagine myself enjoying the air-con and pigging out already..)
