i apologize for the lack of posts and pictures..i do have a few valid reasons to back my absence.. firstly school's been a heck of a busy schedule.. i dont know why i;ve been so busy.. and i've been falling asleep in lectures.. almost everyone of them..i think i'll just fault that on jet lag. (HA! after 3 weeks in hk and when there isnt even time difference btw here and SG.. very valid indeed..)
well the second reason would be due to my slothful nature..now that is very valid. some people just are very lazy and you cant fault them for being lazy cuz its just how they are.. you cant ask a slow loris to pick up its pace can you.. he's just slow by nature.. and by name.. (Haa.. man i miss crapping around with you guys.. few people here have the ability to understand my crap, much less communicate it with me..sigh!)
anyway i shall just put up a selection of pictures from the numerous i've got..hope you guys will find it interesting enough to anticpate my next post.. which will probably come in a couple of light years..and anyway the pics are in random order cuz i've been too lagged behind to know when i went where and did what.. so here goes..=D
ok this is a picture taken from the top of Victoria's Peak.. it was freaky up there because it was so high up and the winds were pretty strong..i had them put on two safety harness on me before i agreed to get this close to the railing..

This was a hotdog bought by Jillian at Ikea.. i forgot where we were.. i think it was causeway bay.. it costs only 1 SGD!! how cheap is that?!! and its ginormous can! and then we noticed that the food section of Ikea was actually the most crowded area.. and you thought that was typical Singapore behavior.. (unless they were all singaporeans.. lolz)
and this! ice cream cone.. costs only 20cents at Ikea!! fall on your knees now everyone..so if u're broke in HK.. do go to Ikea to have your stomachs filled..=)
a demonstration smack in the middle of the street.. they have this in quite alot of places here in hk..very interesting. but they're pretty peaceful demonstrators.. i assure you they dont riot at all..so you dont have to worry about being attacked.. lolz
This picture was taken on a coach before we started on our Kowloon & New Territories Tour organized for exchange students by the school. We actually signed up for the Hong Kong Island tour.. which i heard was much better than the one we went too..but apparently they switched the dates without informing any of us.. talk about terrible organization. sheesh my arms of flabby here..
Well first we went to a bird garden.. it was pretty boring cuz we kind of see the elderly with pet birds at our void decks too..not an uncommon sight.. i took tons of pictures anyway.. i dont wanna bore you guys with them.. they're just birds.. this one is a really cute one =D i figured since i was there as an exchange student, might as well pretend to be an ignorant idiotic tourist who has never seen birds in cages before..
Ok next we headed towards the Wetland Park.. it was supposed to be very different from the city area and that it was like a educational ground for kids to come learn about plants..=.= it was kinda like Sungei Buloh.. only cleaner.. and it was seriously just full of trees.. the forest at my void deck has even more sounds than that place la! at least i can hear the insects and all.. it was just boring.. that wetland park.. =.=
i think they need better translators..i suck in chinese but even i know that those chinese characters actually say Do not Touch rather than Beware of moving parts..

Next, we moved on to Wong Tai Sin Temple.. its supposed to be this temple built to commemorate this doctor in the past and its said that lots drawn there are very accurate.. i drew a bad lot.. =(
That would be me drawing a lot..The next stop was to a nunnery which was said to be really peaceful and surreal.. indeed it was.. but that was definitely not the place for me.. i realised i'm more of a city girl.. i love crowded places..if i needed a surreal place.. the ideal venue would be my room.
After the nunnery, we went on to The Museum of History or sthing.. i took tons of pictures when i was there.. but now looking at them, most of them dont really have much significance.. i think i was playing the ignorant tourist thingy again..anyway just to let you guys have an idea of what was in there..

Well other than those places, we went to Cheung Chau island.. had great cheap seafood there..pictures taken will be posted another day..
i'm broke! and my appetite is growing at a pace faster than e^x rises towards +ve infinity.. sheesh too much jargon.. shall sign off now..
